This is an old post being re-posted and brought back up to the top for the sake of re-establishing our authority after the great downfall.
Here are–hands down (but feel free to comment)–the best hip-hop blogs on the internet.
The top 10:
1. [freshly served] – Who else? You should already know the downloads page is the best place to stay up on your mp3s.
2. Nah Right – The powerhouse of the hip-hop blogging community. But personally, I think there’s just too much content, and that’s keeping it out of first.
3. 2dopeboyz – Same as Nah Right. 2dopeboyz covers all the important news, but they cover a lot of the not too important material too.
4. illRoots – I had a tough time putting Mike Waxx’s blog so far down this list, because illRoots has always been one of my favorites.
5. Daily Math – Combat Jack is straight up interesting, which makes for a good blog. This is a hip-hop culture blog more than anything, and that’s what makes it worthwhile.
6. MissInfo.tv – She knows people or something, so there’s plenty of relevant content posted.
7. Pigeons and Planes – Confusion’s just got a great mix of music going on over there.
8. OnSmash – Great blog, and it could be higher, but I’m just not a big fan of the layout.
9. Hip Hop DX – There’s only so much you can get out of a hip-hop blog with no actual downloads.
10. DJ Booth – Same as Hip Hop DX.
Yes, I put my own blog first. Am I cocky? Yes, but when I say I think this is the best hip-hop blog on the internet, I’m being honest.
