Lupe Fiasco’s Next Supergroup: The All City Chess Club

Okay, wait a second. I know what you’re thinking. What about that last supergroup, CRS (consisting of Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Pharrell)? They put out what? One song?

Well The All City Chess Club is rumored to have a full length project in the works. If that’s true, I will actually cry with joy.

Wow.

This group actually contains half of XXL’s class of 2009. That’s bananas. And the Cool Kids? Well Gone Fishin’ was one of my top 5 favorite mixtapes of all time. And J. Cole? Well The Warmup is my favorite mixtape of all time.

Diggy’s the only one I’m a little iffy on, and that’s only because he doesn’t have a lot of material out; I’m just not sure if he’s going to be able to keep pumping out quality stuff.

Still, I’m confident that with all these heavy hitters, any project that The All City Chess Club puts out will be amazing.
